Thunderclap Recording, Northwest Indiana’s premiere recording studio, has teamed with The Towle Community Theater to sponsor a series of musical events that will occur in downtown Hammond in June and October of this year.

Local Music Showcase will spotlight mostly, but not entirely, original music. The inaugural event takes place on Friday, June 13th with a lineup that features Urban Twang and John Vezmar and the Dreamers. Showtime begins at 8:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $8.00 in advance or $12.00 the day of the show and are available at the Towle Theater’s box office. Refreshments will be served during intermission. The shows will be recorded and videotaped for future release.
