The Newburgh Wine & Art Festival runs Saturday, May 19, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Old Lock and Dam Park in Newburgh.

Admission to the wine tent is $5 each on Saturday and you must be 21 to enter. During the festival, musicians will be entertaining and several wine classes will be offered -- from how to pair wines with foods to making your own wines.

Food and soft beverages will be available for purchase outside the wine tent.

Across the street from the wine tent, artists will be showing their works. The art area is free to the public. The event will operate, rain or shine. Signs will direct visitors to parking. A free shuttle bus will be available.

Historic Newburgh, Inc. will be selling wine gear and a 2007 poster and t-shirt to commemorate the festival.
