Families considering a Bishop Noll Institute education for their children can attend an upcoming Open House at the school (1519 Hoffman St. in Hammond) on Thursday, Nov. 4 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Bishop Noll, a Catholic high school serving the youth of Northwest Indiana and the Chicagoland area, will provide tours to prospective students and families where they can learn about everything the school has to offer, including its curriculum, vast technological resources, sports, clubs and campus ministry.

There will also be an opportunity to learn about financial aid, BNI scholarships and the Indiana School Choice Scholarship program, which recently became accessible to a greater number of Indiana families.

“Families who attend our Open House will have the opportunity to see all the tremendous resources we have that contribute to the great deal of success Noll continues to achieve as we begin our 101st year of education,” said Jeff Stur, Director of Admissions. “Attendees can meet our dedicated leadership, faculty, staff and coaches, participate in activities, and tour our state-of-the-art STREAM Lab that was recognized as one of the top-12 high caliber STEM facilities in the nation this past year.”

Bishop Noll participates in Project Lead the Way’s STEM program, which immerses students into the world of design and modeling. The A-rated school offers 27 AP, dual college credit, and honors courses in a variety of subjects along with more than 40 varsity sports, clubs, and academic teams for students to enjoy.

Students also participate in spiritual retreats, monthly all school Masses and a variety of community service projects.

The school will also host its first entrance exam of the 2021-22 school year on Saturday, November 20 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Fee is $25, but those who attend the open house will receive a $5 discount.
