Date:
Thu, 01/27/2022 - 7:00pm to 8:30pm

The South Shore Arts Art in Focus lecture series will continue virtually on Thursday, January 27 at 7pm. Director of Education Natalie Heath and her guest, HGTV’s “Biggest, Little Christmas Showdown” participant and bigwig in the mini-scene, Darren Scala of D. Thomas Fine Miniatures, will host a virtual discussion all about 1:12 scale miniatures. Together, Natalie and Darren will discuss the world-wide fascination with all things tiny, while featuring a few of their personal favorites from their own miniature collection.

Art in Focus is for adult learners of all ages who are interested in the Arts and its impact on our world, past, present, and future. Art in Focus is part of an on-going series of free arts presentations that provide insight into the work of artists and the multitude of artistic forms that they express. An important aspect of the program is the thoughtful dialogue between program facilitator, guest speakers, and the attendees. These interactive presentations allow for South Shore Arts presenters to bring the experience directly to the audience in the comfort of their own homes, gaining access to artistic experiences that might otherwise be out of reach.

Upcoming Virtual Lecture Date, Time, and Topic:
