The Janis Joplin Tribute, Forever Janis, October 15th at Theatre at the Center was not worth the time or the money. The tribute artist, who never disclosed her name – not in the program, not on the website – had a voice more suited to Dolly Parton than Janis Joplin.
The Gone to Paradise concert at Theatre at the Center on September 19th was just as much fun as their first TATC concert in 2024. As a Parrothead from way back, I can honestly say that their concerts are almost as much fun as an actual Jimmy Buffet concert – and I saw many of those!
