The Indiana State Police will be joining forces this week with Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia State Police agencies, for what is known as the Six-State Trooper Project. During this collective effort, troopers across Indiana will be taking to the roadways March 11th-13th with a primary focus on criminal patrol and drug interdiction.

Porter County- On March 9, 2021 at 7:00 a.m., Master Trooper Lawrence McFarrin observed a white Chevrolet Impala traveling westbound on I-94 near the 26 mile-marker (Chesterton exit). 

Tippecanoe County – This Morning, Tuesday, March 9th, just after midnight, Trooper Mason Wiley was patrolling Interstate 65 northbound near the 175 mile-marker. A silver Hyundai Sonata passed Trooper Wiley at an extremely high rate of speed.
