-The Indiana State Police is accepting applications to be a Regional Dispatcher at the Toll Road Post to staff the Regional Dispatch Center that operates out of the facility located at 52422 CR 17. 

Indiana State Police Superintendent Anthony Scott has announced the promotion of Trooper Alexander V. Fuertes to the rank of Sergeant.

Captain Erwin “Erv” Faulk has announced his retirement from the Indiana State Police following a law enforcement career which has spanned nearly 42 years.
Faulk, a native of Hendricks County, is a graduate of Cascade High School and Indiana University with a degree in Criminal Justice.  As a student at IU University, he worked as an IU Cadet Officer and became a certified Law Enforcement Officer.  In August of 1983 he was accepted into the 41st Indiana State Police Recruit Academy.

The Indiana State Police is accepting applications for Motor Carrier Inspectors (MCI).  The MCI positions will staff permanent scale facilities in Fort Wayne, Lowell, Seymour, and West Harrison.

Powers Health Rehabilitation Center (PHRC) in Crown Point and St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart have earned places on the 2025 list, with the former receiving the distinction of No. 2 rehabilitation center in Indiana for a third consecutive year. St. Mary Medical Center earned the fifth spot for the state.

The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) presented the 2025 Governor’s Awards for Environmental Excellence to six recipients during the 28th Annual Indiana Partners for Sustainability’s Annual Conference and Tradeshow in Indianapolis.
