“As We See It” Opens at Lubeznik Center for the Arts
Lubeznik for the Arts (LCA) proudly introduces its newest exhibition, As We See It, which opened November 7th. This colorful show celebrates the 12th year of creative achievements by artists from LCA’s Health Promotion through the Arts program, which provides high quality arts instruction to adults living with cognitive disabilities.

The Indiana State Police in Lowell Issue Reminders of Autumn Driving Hazards
Fall is upon us. Falling leaves and colder temperatures are making their appearance as well. With these changes come driving hazards more unique to autumn than other times of the year.
According to the Institute of Highway Safety, autumn typically brings a sharp increase in the amount of car versus animal insurance claims, most of those being deer. These claims usually peak in the month of November and decrease through December and January. Wet leaves, colder temperatures, and an increase in rainfall also add to the mix.

Hindman announces Property from Ebony Fashion Fair: The Final Show
Hindman today announced Property from Ebony Fashion Fair: The Final Show, which contains the last available collection of clothing from Ebony Fashion Fair. Created in Chicago at Johnson Publishing Company in 1958 by the company’s co-founder, Eunice Walker Johnson, Ebony Fashion Fair became the world’s largest travelling fashion show and was featured in cities around the United States, Canada and the Caribbean.
