One of the Midwest's most anticipated summer events is set to soar back to the South Shore as the Gary Air Show Weekend returns August 21-23, 2026. Presented by the South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority (SSCVA), the City of Gary, Gary Chicago International Airport, and Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana, the three-day celebration will feature exciting aviation performances over Lake Michigan, family-friendly entertainment, and a dazzling drone and pyro show to kick off the weekend.
