Rock icon Billy Idol will perform at Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana’s Hard Rock Live venue on Sunday, May 19, 2024. Doors open at 7 p.m. Performing a career spanning set including his myriad of hits and music from his latest two EPs, Idol will be joined by his longtime band including his collaborator and lead guitarist of over forty years, Steve Stevens

Idol recently released the concert film Billy Idol: State Line, a Vertigo Live concert film documenting the rock legend’s his April 2023 show at the famed Hoover Dam—the first ever concert performed at the location—on DVD and Blu-ray following a successful limited theatrical run. The film highlights the history and significance of Hoover Dam and includes performances from two unique sets of Billy Idol’s iconic hits: a full band concert at sunset with special guests that electrified and illuminated the surrounding Black Canyon and an acoustic duo set on the roof of the powerhouse at the foot of Hoover Dam straddling the Colorado River, directly on the Nevada/Arizona state line. For both sets, Idol is joined by his longtime collaborator and guitar player Steve Stevens, as well as special guests Alison Mosshart (The Kills, The Dead Weather), Steve Jones (Sex Pistols, Generation Sex), and Tony Kanal (No Doubt). Idol was honored with the Hollywood Walk of Fame Star in 2023. The ceremony included guest speakers Henry Rollins and Shepard Fairey. Watch/share his full induction speech HERE via Variety.

In 2022, Idol released his latest project The Cage EP via Dark Horse Records. The new music follows the release of Idol’s 2021 The Roadside EP, which included the Top 15 hit “Bitter Taste” and received praise from fans and critics alike. As on The Roadside EP, Idol is joined on the new project by Steve Stevens.

ABOUT BILLY IDOL:

For 46 years, Idol has been one of the faces and voices of rock and roll with an artistic resume to match the brilliant light of the image. First, as the camera-ready frontman for Generation X between 1977 and 1981, Idol emerged with three albums that made positivity, emotional depth, and high pop synonymous with punk rock. In 1982, Idol embarked on a remarkable transatlantic/transgenre solo career that integrated clubland throb, wide-screen depth and drama, rockabilly desperation, the bold and simple lines of punk and rock and roll decadence.

Tickets for Billy Idol start at $69.50. This show is all reserved seating. Ages 21 and up. The Hard Rock Live box office is open every Friday and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on show days starting at 12 p.m.  Visit https://www.ticketmaster.com/event/05006057272E76D7
