In a blend of bold coffee and bolder comedy, The Brew-Haha—a brand-new improv showcase—is set to premiere at Grindhouse Café in Highland, Indiana on Saturday, June 7th at 7:30 PM.
In an age where creative spaces are more vital than ever, Grindhouse Café is doing more than brewing espresso—it’s becoming a platform for local artists to take the stage and rediscover their voice. The café’s intimate, arts-forward setting serves as the perfect backdrop for a night of spontaneous laughter and unfiltered storytelling.
Produced by Improductions, LLC, The Brew-Haha marks a long-anticipated return to live performance in the region and features two electric improv acts: CatBomb and Improductions Improv.
CatBomb, a dynamic duo known for inventive long-form comedy, will debut Stranger than NonFiction—a sci-fi-inspired performance built entirely from audience suggestions and real-world headlines. Their spontaneous take on cosmic chaos offers a one-of-a-kind journey through absurd galaxies and offbeat characters.
Improductions Improv, the house team and showrunner, who will deliver their signature brand of fast-paced, high-octane scene work fueled by audience prompts and fearless creativity.
Nelson Velazquez, producer of The Brew-Haha and director of Improductions, emphasized the importance of venues like Grindhouse Café in reviving local arts.
