Chesterton Art Center is hosting their annual fundraising gala, Art After Dark, on April 27th at 5:30PM at Sand Creek Country Club. This year’s theme is Flourish and will include dinner, silent auction, cash bar, and dancing to celebrate CAC’s mission of building a creative community that includes everyone. The Chesterton Art Center is where art and arts education are championed, where artists and creatives thrive, and where people connect through the arts.
Art After Dark is CAC’s premier fundraising event to support the education and outreach programs that annually serve 1,000 students of all ages. Proceeds from the annual event support ongoing free outreach programs such as Youth Arts Outreach and Teen Arts Group, as well as CAC’s free public programs including the popular Family Art Days. This year’s Art After Dark theme is “Flourish”, exemplifying the growth of CAC’s impact as a vibrant hub of artistic and cultural activity for the Duneland community and beyond.
“It’s the best feeling to have a room full of folks enjoying themselves and celebrating CAC,” says Hannah Hammond-Hagman, CAC Executive Director, “This year’s event will feature original artworks, services from community businesses, private tours, event tickets and more in the silent auction, as well as a collaborative art project, wonderful dance music, and great company in a beautiful venue.”
CAC invites attendees to dress to feel their best and flaunt their flora and flair. Tickets are $125.00 and can be purchased individually or by tables at https://www.chestertonart.org/art-after-dark-gala or by calling (219) 926-4711.
