The Indiana State Library is inviting the public to attend a thrilling night of treats, tales and things that go bump in the stacks on Friday, October 10th, from 6:00 - 9:30 p.m. ET (5:00 - 8:30 pm CT). “A Ghostly Gathering at the Indiana State Library” encourages people to enjoy the Indiana State Library in costume.
The free event is part of the Indiana State Library's bicentennial celebration and will offer attendees a night of stories, photo opportunities, trick-or-treating in the library's stacks and a peek at an assortment of spooky books and creepy items from the library’s historic collection. The evening will end with a movie screening.
"Believe it or not, October is only two months away. It's never too early to start making plans for spooky season," said Michelle Sharp, collections and outreach manager at the Indiana State Library.
New York Times best-selling author, Annie Sullivan, will be sharing her latest children's book, “Ghouldilocks.”
Additionally, special guests, Circle City Ghostbusters, will be in attendance.
