The Indiana State Library's popular Lunch and Learn series will return next month with "The Business of Archives: Account Books in the Indiana State Library."

Some of the oldest manuscripts in the Indiana State Library are accounting books for regional business and trade, such as those in the Hyacinth Lasselle family collection. On Tuesday, March 10, from 12-1 p.m. EST (11-12 p.m. CST}, Victoria Duncan, Rare Book and Manuscripts supervisor at the Indiana State Library, will introduce these collections, housed in the Rare Books and Manuscripts Division, while providing tips on how to navigate pre-20th century accounting.

The in-person portion of this hybrid event will take place in the Indiana State Library's History Reference Room. The virtual portion will take place via Zoom.
