The nonprofit Rogers Park Business Alliance presents its annual Taste of Clark Street celebration on Sunday, September 22 from 2-6 p.m. Clark Street restaurants from Devon to Touhy Avenues will offer samples of their signature dishes, with attendees encouraged to explore the diverse Rogers Park neighborhood along the route. Taste of Clark Street will also feature live music and family friendly activities at the event “hub,” 6950 N. Clark St. (Morse Avenue and Clark Street), as well as free pedicabs to transport people along the route.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the event. There will be an additional $10 for beer & wine tastings. Advance tickets are now available at RPBA.org. On the day of the event, ticket purchases, check-in, and passport pick-up will be available at the “hub” from 2-5 p.m. The event will take place rain or shine.

Participating restaurants include Taqueria El Chorrito, Life's Sweet Inc., Cafe El Meson II, Paleteria Las Delicias De Michoacan, Rogers Park Fine Wine and Spirits (booze tasting), La Fonda, El Pecado Mexican Restaurant, Urban Tables, Supermercado Roman (food and booze tasting), El Sabor Poblano, La Choza Mexican Grill, El Famous Burrito, Nueva Italy Pizzeria and more.

The music lineup at Taste of Clark Street includes NIIKA, Vivian Garcia, Mariachi Sirenas, as well as African drumming and hip-hop dancing by New Rhythm Art Center. Family activities will feature paper lotus flower making and a balloon artist.
