Lubeznik Center for the Arts to Host a Virtual Mask-erade Ball, an Online Virtual Fundraiser

The Lubeznik Center for the Arts invites the community to attend a free virtual Mask-erade Ball as they host their largest annual fundraising event, featuring a great silent auction, a mask contest and the opportunity to make a vibrant investment in our community. Archaeology at Morgan-Monroe State Forest, Sept. 27th

At 9:00 am EDT September 27th, you can start watching the Applied Anthropology Laboratories at Ball State University's 20 minute video covering their Historic Preservation Fund project at Morgan-Monroe State Forest. The video will include a history of the site, interviews with field workers, and select artifacts found.

LCSO FOX PARK CONCERT WILL FEATURE NEWEST HOOSIER STAR WINNERS

On Sunday, September 27 from 4:00 PM – 5:15 PM, the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra (LCSO) will perform at the Band Shell in Fox Park in La Porte for a concert presentation designed for the whole family. The concert is free and open to the public thanks to the generosity of two anonymous donors.

Virtual Storytime - Mother Goose on the Loose

Children from birth through 23 months and a caregiver are invited to tune in weekly for a 10 to 15-minute lapsit program that fosters child development and pre-literacy skills. This is a virtual program that will be held through the Lake County Public Library's Youtube page or directly at www.bit.ly/LCPLstorytime.
