The Munster Police Department is warning residents to beware of the Social Security scam. Lately several Munster residents have reported that they have been contacted by individuals who are claiming that their Social Security numbers have been compromised, and that they need to pay money or face arrest.

The Munster Police Department and Choice Community Council invite all Munster residents to participate in our town’s 25th Annual National Night Out Against Crime Celebration, which will be held on Tuesday, October 6th.
