In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, AstonRep Theatre Company today announced it will cancel its upcoming Chicago premiere of "When We Were Young and Unafraid" scheduled to run April 9 – May 10, 2020 at The Edge Theater, 5451 N. Broadway St. in Chicago.

The Indiana Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) in Plainfield has, out of an abundance of caution, decided to suspend its operations in an attempt to keep its staff, students and visitors safe during this COVID-19 outbreak.

Silk Road Rising (Founding Artistic Director Jamil Khoury and Founding Executive Director Malik Gillani) and Momentary Theatre (Co-Curators Matthew T. Messina and Jacob C. Shuler) regretfully announce the cancelation of the World Premiere of My Dear Hussein, written by Nahal Navidar.

Dear Friends of Pride -
In the past week, I have felt a combination of emotions. Sorrow for the work at Pride Arts, across Chicago and the country, that people will not get to see. Great productions like our DEX & ABBY and FIVE ENCOUNTERS ON A SITE CALLED CRAIGSLIST played to much smaller audiences than they should have.  Joy for the camaraderie of our community pulling together and hope that people much smarter than I will soon clear a path for us all.

Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an off-road vehicle (ORV) accident that occurred yesterday (3/17/2020), killing one Gibson County man and leaving his teen-age passenger in critical condition.
