Defender Jack Elliott Selected to MLS Team of the Matchday for Matchday 26 || Goalkeeper Chris Brady named to the TOTM Bench following shutout victory

Chicago Fire FC (9-9-5, 32 points) posted a 2-0 shutout against CF Montréal (3-15-6, 15 points) Saturday night at Stade Saputo. Forward Hugo Cuypers opened the scoring in the first half, followed by Jack Elliott’s first goal as a member of the Fire in the second. Winger Philip Zinckernagel tied the Major League Soccer record for most consecutive road matches with a goal contribution with his assist on Elliott’s goal.

A night after letting a late lead slip away, the Gary SouthShore RailCats roared back in dramatic fashion. The RailCats routed the Kane County Cougars 13-6 on Saturday night at the Steel Yard to snap a six-game losing streak.

The Gary SouthShore RailCats couldn’t hold off a late surge from the Kane County Cougars, falling 3-2 Friday night at the Steel Yard despite leading for most of the game.

The Gary SouthShore RailCats announced today that Lamarr Rogers is no longer Field Manager of the organization. Additionally, the RailCats announce Jeff Isom as the fifth field manager in RailCats history. 

Rogers took over as the field manager of the RailCats prior to the 2022 season, after long-time manager Greg Tagert departed for a role with the San Francisco Giants organization. In his four seasons with the club, the RailCats had a record of 132-229. 

Right-handed pitcher Jacob Coats has been added to the East Division All-Star team, becoming the third player from the RailCats to represent the organization in Fargo. Coats will be joining Jairus Richards and Elvis Peralta, both will be starting the game on Tuesday.
