After some really close games to start off the series, the Gary SouthShore RailCats were back at Legends Field for game three of four in Kansas City.

The Washington Wild Things homered three times to secure a 9-3 win over the Schaumburg Boomers on Sunday afternoon and take two-of-three in the weekend series at Wintrust Field.

The Gary SouthShore RailCats, coming off an 8-5 win on Friday. Were back at Legends Field for game two against the Kansas City Monarchs. Deyni Olivero pitched for the RailCats and the Monarchs went to Jackson Goddard.

Chicago Fire FC (8-7-4, 28 points) wrapped up a three-game homestand with a 3-2 win over Charlotte FC (8-11-1, 25 points) Saturday night at Soldier Field.

The Schaumburg Boomers scored seven unanswered runs in the seventh and eighth to rally from down 5-1 and steal an 8-5 victory over the Washington Wild Things and gain a game of space in the standings on Saturday night at Wintrust Field.
