Troopers assigned to the Indiana State Police Lowell Post had a very busy 2024 when it came to DUI enforcement. Troopers combined for a total of 679 impaired drivers being removed from our roadways.

The Indiana State Police District Investigations Section at the Lowell Post was requested by the Merrillville Fire Department to investigate a theft involving money that was paid to a local diesel repair shop to fix one of their fire trucks.
