Munster was ranked by their website as the #5 Safest City in Indiana after ranking #11 in 2023.

Snowflurry 2024 was held  Saturday, March 16th at Wilbur Wright Middle School. This event, which has been held for about 30 years in Munster, included 290 fifth grade students being lead by over 100 Munster High School students in a variety of different fun and educational activities aimed at drug prevention, bullying prevention, and treating others with respect. It was one of the largest events yet.
