Orville Richard Burrell CD, better known by his stage name Shaggy, is an acclaimed Jamaican reggae/dancehall artist, producer, songwriter, and actor who scored hits with the songs "It Wasn't Me," "Boombastic," "In the Summertime," "Oh Carolina," and "Angel." Throughout his illustrious career, he has received two Grammy Awards for Best Reggae Album with Boombastic in 1996 and 44/876 with Sting in 2019 and won the Brit Award for International Male Solo Artist in 2002.

Free Concerts on the Hard Rock Cafe Stage

Lit – Hard Rock Cafe – 11 p.m.

For those who want something a little heavier, rock band Lit will perform a free concert on the Hard Rock Cafe stage on December 31 at 11 p.m. Lit is considered one of the preeminent bands to have come out of the post-grunge era of the late 90's and helped define an entire generation of SoCal power punk with hard-charging hits like “My Own Worst Enemy,” “Miserable," "Zip-Lock,", and "Lipstick & Bruises." The band has released 6 worldwide studio albums, including their RIAA Certified Platinum A Place in the Sun, and they are currently writing and recording to release new material.

Alt 101 will open for Lit – Hard Rock Cafe - 9 p.m.

Alt 101 is Chicagoland's premier 90's alternative rock tribute band. Fans can rock out to music from their favorite alternative bands such as Pearl Jam, Nirvana, No Doubt, Weezer, and more.

The Elvis Tribute Artist Spectacular Birthday Edition celebrates the music, memory and magic of Elvis era-by-era.  The show begins with the early rockabilly years, the military years and the movie years. His memorable and iconic performance in the ’68 Comeback Special follows, where TV viewers joined Elvis dressed in black leather and performing on a bare set.
