The Munster Police Department, partnered once again with the Munster Junior Woman’s Club, held the 19th Annual Cops & Kids Event Wednesday, December 6th at Target in Munster.
That evening, approximately 70 children were taken shopping for toys or clothing with funds that were donated by local residents, businesses, and community organizations. In addition, each family was provided with a gift card to purchase either a turkey or ham for their holiday dinner.

Our event would not be possible without the great support from the members of the Munster Junior Woman’s Club who provided a generous donation and both welcomed and shopped with participating families. We greatly appreciate their continued assistance with several community policing events throughout the year.
