The Munster Police Department and Choice Community Council invite all Munster students in grades K-12 (public and parochial schools) to participate in this year’s annual Red Ribbon Week Poster Contest.
The contest begins this Wednesday, September 13th and runs through Wednesday, October 6th. The purpose of the contest is to encourage drug prevention among our community’s youth and to encourage them to make a pledge to remain drug-free.
Entries must be completed on a standard 8 X 11 sheet of paper and the design must contain the words “Munster” and “Red Ribbon”.
Entries can either be turned in to the main office of your child’s school (in Student Services at MHS and in Guidance at WWMS) or they can be submitted electronically by e-mailing them to munsterpolicerecords@munster.org.
All entries must be received by Wednesday, October 6th for judging purposes.
A grand prize winner will receive a $50 gift card and individual winners from the remaining schools will each receive a $25 gift card sponsored by the Choice Community Council of Munster. The winners will be announced just prior to Red Ribbon Week (October 24-30).
For more information about this contest please contact Officer James Ghrist at 219-836-6639 or jghrist@munster.org. Please encourage your child to participate in this year’s contest!
