The Salon Show is a tradition that has defined South Shore Arts since its inception in the late 1930s when ten Hammond and Calumet City artists sponsored the first annual Art Exhibition of the Hammond District Art Association in the millinery department of the Minas Department Store in Downtown Hammond.
This year over $10,000 will be awarded to artists in the exhibit! All questions can be directed to Gallery Manager, Brandon Johnson, 219-836-1839 x 108.
Important Dates:
Entry Deadline for Submission: August 19, 5 pm
Notification Mailed: August 25
Delivery of Accepted Work: September 1 & 2, from 10 am-5 pm Exhibition: September 8 – November 4, 2023
Reception and Awards Ceremony: October 15, 1-3 pm
Pick Up Exhibited Work: November 5 & 6 from 10 am-5 pm
