Beatniks Entertainment proudly presents "Making God Laugh"

  1. Home

Tue, 05/11/2021 - 12:31am by laughingcat

Directed by Bonnie and Rip Johnson, Making God Laugh follows one typical American Family over the course of thirty years' worth of holidays.  Starting in 1980, Ruthie and Bill's grown children -  a priest, an aspiring actress, and a former football star, all return home, where we learn of their plans and dreams as they embark on their adult lives.  The empty-nester parents contend with their own changes, as old family rituals are trotted out and ancient tensions flare up.

Bonnie and I feel this is the right play for this moment in time. Please come join us if you feel comfortable getting together.  All current protocols will be observed.

The play runs Friday and Saturday June 4, 5, 11, and 12 at 8pm and Sunday June 6 and 13 at 2pm.  All State recommended Covid protocols will be observed. The cost of admission is $18.00.  The door will open 1/2 hour before the show.

Beatniks is located at 420 Conkey Street, Hammond, Indiana.  For reservations or more info you can go to www.Beatniksonconkey.com or call 219-852-0848
