Culture Club, which emerged out of Britain in the early '80s, first captured attention with their catchy sound and standout lead singer Boy George, who made headlines as the first openly gay performer to front a band. In concert, the group proves it is still a musical draw as they offer new material and fresh interpretations of hit tunes. Fans welcomed this festive trip back to the '80s.
Among standout songs on the Culture Club playlist were "It's A Miracle," a fantastic cover of Prince's "Purple Rain," "Time (Clock of the Heart)," the dynamic "Miss Me Blind," "I'll Tumble 4 Ya," an impressive cover of The Rolling Stones' "Sympathy for the Devil" and the mega hit "Karma Chameleon."
