The South Bend Civic Theatre presents The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde. This “Trivial Comedy for Serious People”, by Oscar Wilde, is part satire, part comedy of manners, and part intellectual farce. What happens when two grand bachelors take on the name Ernest in order to woo the ladies they love… who insist on finding husbands with that name? Join us to discover the importance of being earnest while living in the age of ideals! Hosted at The History Museum.
This is an outdoor performance. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own seating options (camper chairs, blankets, etc.) to enjoy this experience on the green space in the Historic Oliver Gardens.
Directed by Nathan Mittleman
