The laughs flowed at the Theatre at the Center in Munster on June 12 as Mike Toomey and Tim Benker delivered a night of comedy to an engaged audience.
Tim Benker, the opener, warmed up the crowd with his conversational delivery about family and everyday life. His storytelling was entertaining stand-up comedy.
Next, headliner, Mike Toomey took the stage with his polished, broadcaster demeanor. Toomey, a regular on Chicago’s WGN Morning News, is no stranger to area television viewers. He shared several stories about growing up Catholic, to which a majority of the audience could relate. His observations and comedic timing kept the audience laughing throughout the show. Overall, this was a fun night of comedy!
