The week of May 12th, five separate groups of D.A.R.E. Role Models from Munster High School traveled with D.A.R.E. Officer James Ghrist to speak with either 5th or 8th grade students at Eads, Elliott, Frank Hammond, St. Thomas More, or St. Paul’s Lutheran School.
During these sessions, the 5th and 8th graders were able to ask questions about peer pressure, drug prevention, bullying prevention, getting involved with positive activities, handling stress, and using help networks. The students did a great job mentoring the younger students in a positive way.
Thank you to each of the students who participated!
