Chicago Tap Theatre (CTT) is pleased to announce its 2025-2026 season launching with the return of Chicago Tap Allstars’ Winter Wonderland, Saturday, Dec. 6 at 12 p.m., then in the spring, the world premiere of The Countdown, directed by Founder and Artistic Director Mark Yonally, March 5 - 8 and the season concludes with Chicago Tap Theatre’s Summer Show directed by Rehearsal Director Molly Smith, June 11 - 14. Tickets are currently on sale for Winter Wonderland and additional production tickets will go on sale at a later date. For more information and updates on the 23rd season go to ChicagoTapTheatre.com.

"Season 23 is here, and never has it felt more necessary to bring rhythm and joy into people's lives. As we are all trying to figure out, ‘what now’ we decided to address these questions in the way that CTT does best, with a mix of compassion, optimism, joy and the belief that tap dance is a force for good in people's lives. But what if we need a little more guidance? With tongue only somewhat in cheek, we stand ready to help. In March 2026, CTT will present The Countdown: Tap Dancing, Numerology & Surviving the Now, a show that will use rhythm, humor (both heartfelt and absurd) and numbers to maybe, just maybe, offer some ideas for all of us looking to the near future with trepidation. If numbers don't quite do it for people then they just have to wait for Molly Smith's all-new show in June 2026, which will explore the Cosmos and its astrological signs. I've definitely been feeling unmoored, confused and even a little lost, so playing with these ancient systems to offer some degree of guidance, or at the very least a lens with which to look at the past, present and future, holds a lot of appeal,” shared Chicago Tap Theatre Founder and Artistic Director Mark Yonally.
