Mozart’s genius in composing for wind instruments will be on display with two of his magnificent and engaging divertimenti for woodwinds. The contrasting sounds of strings will be enjoyed in the sparkling Divertimento in F major. Stravinsky’s neo-baroque Octet will feature both winds and brass. To conclude the concert, all instrumental forces will combine in a surround-sound performance of Mozart’s Ave Verum Corpus.
