Field Station Frenzy 5K Trail Run & Walk
The Frenzy is happening Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Chellberg Farm in Indiana Dunes National Park. It’s a family-friendly race that blends the beauty of the fall trails with a great community cause.
Here’s what’s in store:
- Scenic, professionally timed 5K Trail Run & Walk
- Kids’ runs (Tot Trot & 1K)
- Free outdoor childcare during the 5K
- Post-race snacks for all participants
- Handmade wood-burned awards for top finishers
Schedule:
- Early packet pick-up: Thu 10/2 & Fri 10/3 at Extra Mile Fitness (Valparaiso)
- 7:30 AM – Packet/Shirt Pickup Opens
- 8:15 AM – Childcare Opens & Tot Trot (500 m)
- 8:30 AM – 1K Kids Fun Run
- 9:00 AM – 5K Trail Run & Walk
- 10:00 AM – Awards Ceremony
- 10:30 AM – Childcare Closes
Registration: Online only at www.fieldstation.org/frenzy-5k. No paper forms or on-site payments accepted.
All proceeds benefit Field Station Cooperative Preschool, a nonprofit nature-based preschool in Northwest Indiana.
