The committee made a motion for the Board of Directors to accept the slate at the monthly meeting on March 11th. The motion was seconded, and it passed unanimously. This will be a light and fun season to compensate with all the bad news in the world. The organization want the audience to have a good time and leave the theater with a smile on their faces.
The season is as follows:
September 4-13, 2020 a comedy-FOUR OLD BROADS by Leslie Kimbell. Directed by Sarah Dolan, Assistant Director Jessica Landis and Lara West as production Manager
November 6-15, 2020 a holiday comedy MIRACLE ON SOUTH DIVISION STREET by Tom Dudzick Directed by Denis Barkow, Assistant Director Joe Blanchard and Jan Rice as Production Manager
February 5-21, 2021 a musical revue JERRY’S GIRLS by Jerry Herman and Directed by Laura Meyer, Assistant Directed Jan Rice, Musical/Vocal Director Lee Meyer, and Bobby Komendera as Production Manager.
April 2-11. 2021 another comedy DRINKING HABITS by Tom Smith Directed by Dee Piotrowski, Assistant Director Di Younce and Lara West as Production Manager
June 5-21, 2021 the beloved musical THE SOUND OF MUSIC by Rogers and Hammerstein Directed by Debbie Bartholomew, Assistant Director Dee Piotrowski, Musical/Vocal Director Lee Meyer, Choreographer Danielle Bilderback and Paulette Lisek as Production Manager.
The musicals will run 3 weekends Friday through Sunday and the book shows will run 2 weekends Friday through Sunday with an added performance on the Thursday of the second weekend.
