Chicago Street Theatre presents
The Half-Life of Marie Curie
February 13th through March 1st
Playwright Lauren Gunderson is on the Chicago Street Stage...finally!

According to Wikipedia, playwright Lauren Gunderson began her career with a passion for storytelling that highlights remarkable female figures in history, science, and literature. She is one of the top 20 most-produced playwrights in the country, and she has been America's most produced living playwright since 2016.
So why haven't we done her work before? It wasn't for lack of trying! The process of acquiring rights is a frustrating process at best and we are so excited that the stars aligned and we are able to bring this beautiful show to you.
The production stars veteran CST actress Barbara Baker Malangoni as Marie Curie and Artistic Director, Lisa Formosa-Parmigiano, as her close friend and colleague, Hertha Aryton. Both actresses were last seen on stage in Season 69, Barb as the unforgettable American, Mrs. Helen Hubbard in Murder on the Orient Express and Lisa as the title character in Lear. These two sharing the stage and bringing this script to life, promises an unforgettable evening of theatre.
The production is under the direction of Allison Granat, assisted by Theresa Haus. Mark this on your calendar as a "must see." Consider bringing your valentine for a unique night out!
