
Indiana Archaeology Month events will be starting later this month.
On August 27, the “Digging the Past” event will take place at the Falls of the Ohio State Park (201 W. Riverside Drive, Clarksville, IN 47129; on.IN.gov/fallsoftheohio) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET (9 a.m. to 3 p.m. CT)
"Digging the Past" is an annual event that highlights archaeology & geology. It features family activities including collecting piles, fossil bed hikes, information booths, crafts, and more. Archaeologist Cathy Draeger-Williams will represent the Division of Historic Preservation & Archaeology at the event.
There is a $2 fee for parking.
