Question: Does the library have Kanopy or other ways to stream movies?
Answer: Yes we do! LCPL full access and digital access cards can use both Kanopy and Hoopla. They are both streaming services. Hoopla has books/audiobooks as well and Kanopy is exclusively movies and television.
You are limited to 16 checkouts a month on Hoopla. (FYI: It counts each episode of a television series as a separate checkout.)
Kanopy works on a ticket system. You get 48 tickets a month. Movies cost two tickets and series range from three to five depending on their length.
Both can be added to a smart TV so they can be watched on the big screen.
