
The La Porte County Symphony Orchestra welcomes Sarah Brown and Nolah Nasser-Gertner to their Board of Directors! We are delighted to have both Brown and Nasser-Gertner join the team on August 1st .
Ms. Brown is a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones in La Porte. She is a graduate of Ball State University with a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Supervision. Presently, Ms. Brown also serves on the boards of Family Advocates, Arts in the Park, and is a past board member of the La Porte County YMCA and Women in Leadership.
We are thrilled to have Ms. Nasser-Gertner re-joining the Board after serving during the 50th Anniversary Season. She was a vital part of the committee that spearheaded the successful 50th Anniversary fundraising campaign. Ms. Nasser-Gertner a resident of Long Beach, is a graduate of Andrews University and has retired as the Director of Project Development with BLDD Architects. She has previously served on the boards of Michigan City Parks, Samaritan Center, and Michigan City Human Rights Commission.
Both Ms. Brown and Ms. Nasser-Gertner will serve a three-year term with the LCSO.
They will join on August 1, 2026, with board members:
