You Asked, We Answered!
: Can you help me figure out the name of a TV show? It was a British comedy about a bunch of medical students. I think it came out in the '60s.
Answer: That would be Doctor in the House, which was based on a series of books by British author and physician Richard Gordon.
The books inspired 6 films released between 1954 and 1970 and were the springboard for several TV series, with Doctor in the House being the first. It originally aired in Britain from 1969-70.
Bonus Trivia: Among the writers for Doctor in the House were Graham Chapman and John Cleese of the now-legendary Monty Python comedy troupe!
