The Division of Historic Preservation and Archaeology (DHPA) is pleased to announce that the latest volume of the journal Indiana Archaeology is now available at 2021 INDIANA ARCHAEOLOGY VOLUME 15 NUMBER 1.
Per state statute (Indiana Code 14-21-1-12), one of the duties of the DHPA is to develop a program of archaeological research and development, including the publication of information regarding archaeological resources in the state. This journal is one of the ways that this mandate continues to be addressed. Included in this volume is an interesting mix of articles regarding both precontact and historical archaeology in our state, and we hope the public will enjoy reading about the sites featured in the articles. Two of the articles, listed below with HPF, discuss projects which were conducting using Historic Preservation Fund grant program monies.
The authors of the articles, those staff who assisted with editing, and the outside peer reviewers are thanked by Editor Amy Johnson.
