The Mexican Migration at Museum

The Whiting-Robertsdale Historical Society presents “The Mexican Migration Exhibit” beginning May 7th through June 11th from noon to 4pm every Sunday. The museum is free to all.

This exhibit highlights the history and contributions made by the Mexican people in our area. Beginning with the history of Boxcar Neighborhoods to the businesses and Empanada Fest of now. Follow the journey of Mexican workers recruited by the steel mills with promises of better wages and stable employment. Learn about the vibrant culture, food, music and people that are a part of the Whiting Robertsdale community.

The museum is located at 1610 119th Street.
