The Town of Munster held their 1st Annual “Light the Night” holiday event this past Friday, December 3rd at the Town Hall where the town’s tree was lit in front of a large crowd of residents followed by a great closing fireworks show from Krazy Kaplan’s.
The event also included a choir performance, food vendors, and a visit from Santa Claus.
The Munster Police Department’s safety mascots (Nat the Knight, Daren the Lion, and McGruff the Crime Dog) were also in attendance to take photos with participants and to help celebrate the evening. Their holiday scarves were made by Munster H.S. graduate Ariana Casas.
