On Monday, January 23rd at approximately 6:45AM, the Munster Police Department was dispatched to the area of Park West subdivision to search for an alleged suicidal subject.
A vehicle, which was related to the subject, was located in a near by subdivision. Officers were then notified a short time later of a person under the railroad track bridge in the area of 45th & White Oak. Officers located a male subject who was deceased. Identity of the subject is pending upon notification to family.
The Lake County Coroner’s Office, Canadian National Railroad Police, Munster PD, and Munster FD are investigating.
