The Munster Police Department is seeking monetary donations THROUGH NOVEMBER 15TH towards their 21st Annual “Cops & Kids” holiday shopping program for children in need which will be held in December.
Each year, Munster Police officers, Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS), and members of the Munster Junior Woman’s Club spend an evening taking pre-selected, area children shopping for toys or clothing with funds that have been donated by local residents, businesses, or community service organizations.
Since 2005, several thousand children have been assisted through this program thanks to the generosity of others.
If you would like to provide a donation, please make your check payable to the TOWN OF MUNSTER (memo: Cops & Kids) and either mail or drop it off to the Munster Police Department, c/o Sergeant James Ghrist, 1001 Ridge Road, Munster, IN 46321.
