The Munster Police Department received a plaque from the National Association of Town Watch in recognition of Munster’s ranking as the #5 National Night Out event in the United States (in the 15,000-50,000 population category).
In addition, Munster was the only Indiana community that received a national ranking in any of the population categories.
The National Night Out is celebrated in hundreds of communities throughout the United States each August to promote positive police and community partnerships.
We would like to once again thank the many sponsors, attendees, volunteers, and booth participants who helped to make this past year’s National Night Out event the best one yet.
We look forward to beginning plans this spring for our 2023 National Night Out event which is scheduled for Tuesday, August 1st.
