Cleaning crews are sanitizing door handles, tables, microwaves, floors, remotes, offices, and other commonly used areas and items. ISF has utilized the CDC's Guidelines for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and social distancing. Alcohol based hand sanitizers are available to all offenders and staff. Soap has also been given to the offender population and is replenished often. ISF commitment to all staff and offenders safety is working and we daily continue to fight against COVID-19.
Offenders in the Purposeful Living Unit Serve (PLUS) program, ISF Honor Dorm, and other offender volunteers have been working on producing enough masks to cover over 2,000 incarcerated individuals and 450 staff members.
