The Munster Police Department and Choice Community Council invite all Munster students in grades K-12 to participate in this year’s Red Ribbon Week Poster Contest. The contest is held to promote safety and drug prevention awareness among our community’s youth.

Students wishing to participate must follow these guidelines:

• Create a poster on an 8 X 11 sheet of paper (nothing larger please). The poster must contain “Munster” and “Red Ribbon” somewhere in the poster design.

• Posters must be dropped off in the main office of your child’s school.

• All posters must be received by no later than Thursday, October 6th.

A grand prize winner will be awarded with a $50 Target gift card and individual winners from each of the other schools will receive $25 gift cards. This contest is being sponsored by the Choice Community Council of Munster. The winners will be announced during Red Ribbon Week, which runs from October 23-29 this year.

Please encourage your child or teenager to participate in this year’s contest! For more information, please contact D.A.R.E. Officer James Ghrist at 219-836-6639 or jghrist@munster.org
