The nonprofit Rogers Park Business Alliance (RPBA) proudly announces the expansion of the annual Live Love Shop Rogers Park holiday rebate program, now running from November 1 through December 31, 2025, to increase support of local businesses. During the two-month-long rebate program, RPBA will host two festive shopping events with dozens of deals and promotions: a Mercadito (Spanish for “minimarket”)—a vibrant craft fair showcasing local vendors and businesses on November 22, and a Welcome Station for Small Business Saturday with business specials on November 29. For more information on the holiday events, offerings, and rebate rules, visit RPBA.org.

“Now more urgently than ever, small business owners are grappling with the uncertainty and volatility impacting our community, many of which are Latine-owned,” says Sandi Price, Executive Director of Rogers Park Business Alliance. “At RPBA, our mission is to cultivate and sustain a thriving economic environment in Rogers Park. That’s why we felt extending our shop local campaign was essential. We’re calling on our Chicago neighbors to rally behind these businesses by doing their shopping in the community. Every dollar spent at an independently owned business not only rewards the shopper but fuels the vitality and resilience of Rogers Park and supports our vulnerable small businesses.”

To support small businesses during a crucial time of their survival, Rogers Park Business Alliance – an official 2025 Neighborhood Champion and Shop Small ambassador – has extended its shop local campaign to offer patrons more time to visit local businesses for the perfect holiday presents. Live Love Shop Rogers Park offers rebates of up to $75 to shoppers who patronize independently-owned businesses in Rogers Park throughout November and December. Those who collect $150 or more in receipts will receive a $50 rebate, and those with receipts totaling $200 or more will receive a $75 rebate. To qualify for the rebate, a completed rebate form and original receipts (hard copy or digital confirmation dated between November 1 and December 31, 2025; no gift receipts allowed) must be turned in to RPBA by Wednesday, January 7, 2026, by 5 p.m. Shoppers can fill out a form online,  download a PDF form, or pick up a hard copy from RPBA’s office (1448 W. Morse Ave.) then return the completed form along with the receipts to RPBA. For more information and detailed rebate rules, visit rpba.org/live-love-shop.

During the shop local holiday campaign, a Mercadito will be held at RPBA’s GROW/PROGRESANDO entrepreneurial training center (7056 N. Clark St.) on November 22 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. An initiative of Rogers Park’s state-designated cultural district, Camino Clark, the craft fair will showcase vibrant vendors and artists who offer a diverse range of products and handmade crafts. There will be a free gift-wrapping station from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. courtesy of St. Jerome Church (limit of two gifts per person) and free Ponche donated from a local business, La Casa Vieja. The Mercadito vendors include A Versatile You, Aori Botanical, Coffee and Ink, El Shér, F.L.Y. Radical Therapy and Liberate life coaching, Heartful Sparkle, JellyNeck Solutions, Inc., La Niña Chamoy Candies, Los Agaves Soy Candles, LLC., Lynda Sanford, Mickii's Desserts, Mouchette Woven Arts, Olga’s Jewelry Box, Rulli Rights Books, LLC., Sonrisas, Stone Paper Scissors Art-Jewelry-Sculpture, and Urban Tables.

On Small Business Saturday, November 29 shoppers can take advantage of special offers and discounts from local businesses as well as visit a Welcome Station at Alexander's Restaurant (6764 N. Sheridan Rd.)  from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Visitors of the Welcome Station can participate in fun activities such as a giveaway of free tote bags with goodies from local businesses, free coffee, hot chocolate and pastries courtesy of Alexander’s Restaurant, participate in a Spin the Wheel to receive gifts/items from local businesses of up to $100, and listen to live festive tunes from musician Becca Jaffe.
