More Free Music Coming in 2027
Following the October concert, the Free Family Concert Series returns in the spring with two more performances at the Episcopal Church of the Mediator.
On Sunday, March 21, 2027, at 3 p.m. Eastern, SAM welcomes Switchback, bringing its energetic blend of American roots and Irish and Celtic music to Harbor Country. The afternoon promises spirited music — and perhaps a surprise guest or two.
The season concludes Sunday, April 25, 2027, at 3 p.m. Eastern, with Bowmanville, offering an afternoon filled with the irresistible rhythms and sounds of swing. Together, the three performances give audiences an opportunity to experience remarkably different musical traditions within a single concert series: the bluegrass and acoustic roots of Bourbon Aristocracy, the Celtic energy of Switchback and the classic swing sound of Bowmanville.
All three concerts are free and open to the community.
The School of American Music's Free Family Concert Series reflects the organization's broader mission of making music an accessible and meaningful part of life in Harbor Country through music education, community programming and live performance.
All performances take place at the Episcopal Church of the Mediator, 14280 Red Arrow Highway, Harbert, Michigan. Admission is free.
